Kwinana has bounced back from last week’s disappointing results with 4th grade knocking off the top side and a huge milestone for a club veteran.

4th grade was put into bowl against Thornlie.

The innings started slowly before Kwinana’s bowlers ripped the middle order apart to have Thornlie out for 100.

The bowlers shared the wickets, but Mark James (3-13) finished with the best figures.

Opener Paul Silchinger set the platformin the run chase making 53 after losing his partner early.

A 93 run partnership for the second wicket won the game for Kwinana before late order hitting pushed the final total to 8-198.

One-Day Bs saw a massive milestone against CBC with Peter Goodier playing his 400th game for Kwinana.

He opened the batting making 22 before Luke Ward hit 13 boundaries on the way to 74 and a team total of 230.

They needed every run as wayward bowling again plagued the fielding effort, but 230 was a big task and Kwinana eventually bowled CBC outfor 198.

One-Day Gs recorded their fifth win of the season against Phoenix after losing the toss and being put into the field.

The bowlers started slowly but recruit Fida Hussain claimed 4-26 as Kwinana routed the middle and lower order holding Phoenix to 139.

Kwinana’s batsmen worked together in solid partnerships andmade light work of the total making 7-181 with David Buchanan top scoring with 30.

2nd grade had a tough day against Piara Waters at Piara Waters Reserve.

Kwinana lost the toss and bowled finding wickets hard to come by as Piara Waters made 7-188.

Connor Kilgallon took 3-55.

The batsmen never got going with Connor Kilgallon also top scored with 21 batting at 10.

Kwinana was bowled out for 141.

Kwinana’s Formula 15 debut was a nail-biter against Kenwick.

Kwinana made 7-93 batting first with Daniel Bell making 34.

Mark James’ 2-18 wasn’t enough as Kenwick chased down the total on 4-98.
