Round eleven saw a return to two-day cricket as Kwinana’s 2nd, and 4th-grade sides missed the one-day final.

With one-day cricket complete, 2nd grade turned their attention to consolidating their position in the top four against Kardinya Lakes.

Kwinana was put into the field on a scorching day one and started well before Matthew Parnham (4-29) and Bevan Kearney (5-45) ripped through the batting line up to see Kwinana chasing 146 for victory on day two.

4th Grade was also asked to bowl first in their home match against Kardinya Lakes.

They started positively having the opposition on the ropes at 5-120, but the heat took its toll as the lower order put on 135 to finish the innings all out for 255.

Mark James claimed 4-46 in his return from injury to take his season total to 30.

One-Day Gs made the gutsy call to bowl first against Leeming.

They were rewarded early with Leeming flailing at 3-27 before a complete collapse saw them bowled out for 72.

Paul Webb took incredible figures of 4-7 while David MacDonald (3-17) and Marshall Clark (3-32) contributed nicely.

Kwinana’s opener David Stewart made 66 to ensure an easy victory for the home side as they finished the match on 6-158 and put themselves into second position on the ladder.

One-Day Bs struggled after being asked to bowl first against CBC.

CBC made 6-177 with Rob Taylor taking two wickets.

In 43° heat Kwinana couldn’t get going and were bowled out for 126.

Vishal Patel top scored with 24.

Kwinana’s Formula 15 campaign came to an end with a heavy defeat to Piara Waters.

After winning the toss, Kwinana decided to bowl and was made to regret the decision as Piara Waters smashed their way to 4-149.

Connor Kilgallon took 2-16.

Despite some late hitting from Kurt Verdonk (38n.o), they fell short finishing on 8-103.
